If you don’t know… now you know! The Florida State Fair is a big deal and tons of fun! Bring your girls, your boo, or the whole family… there’s bound to be something for everyone to enjoy!
A bit of background for you, The Florida State Fair, came to Tampa back in 1904 and over the years has grown to one of the largest events in the state!
More than 500,000 people visit the fair each year.
The second I got inside, I felt like a big kid! When it comes to rides at the fair, the showstopper of them all has to be the Midway Sky Eye Wheel. It is actually one of the largest traveling Ferris wheels that takes riders up 155 feet!
But if heights aren’t your thing. The fair has smaller Ferris Wheels, fun houses, and roller coasters.
You could get an armband that allows you to have unlimited rides at the fair too!
If you want more info, here’s a list of the fair rides and the height requirements.
What to eat
NEW This year, food wise, you can try the Cuban Pizza, Deep Fried Cookie Dough, and even Buffaloaded Quesadilla! Yum and yes pleaseee!
In the midst of checking out all the sights and sounds of the fair. I got an ice cream cone dipped in chocolate, cotton candy, and a fair favorite …. a corn dog.
